Reports circulating on social media about the death of renowned singer Abida Parveen are false and baseless, her daughter has confirmed.
Clarifying the situation, Abida Parveen’s daughter stated that the legendary singer is completely fine and in good health. She strongly rejected the reports claiming that Abida Parveen has passed away. She however clarified that a resident of the Dalgran Chowk area of Lahore passed away on Thursday and her name was Abida Parveen.
“These reports are completely untrue. Fans are being misled with false news about my mother’s death,” she said, urging the public to rely only on credible sources for information.
The false reports sparked concern among fans and admirers of the iconic singer across the country and abroad. Family sources appealed to the public and media to refrain from spreading unverified information and to respect the privacy of the artist and her family.
