Two terrorists of banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been arrested by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) during an intelligence-based operation in Sahiwal on Friday.
According to sources, the CTD personnel also recovered a large quantity of explosives from the possession of arrested terrorists including IEDs, hand grenades and detonators.
The operation was carried out at Al-Ghazia Cold Storage near 89/6R Farid Town.
The suspects are said to belong to Lodhran district.
A case has been registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act at the CTD police station.
Further investigation is underway with the arrested suspects.
