The Hameed Khan Group swept the Lahore Bar Association elections, with its presidential candidate Irfan Hayat Bajwa securing a decisive victory, it was reported on Saturday.
Thamina Basra was elected Joint Secretary, while Malik Fahad and Shoaib Arshad Bhatti won the secretary seats.
Zahid Mahmood Gill clinched the Vice President Cantonment seat, whereas Asif Kanwal Khan emerged victorious from the Model Town seat.
Meanwhile, the District Bar Association Gujranwala announced results for the 2026–27 term.
Rana Farhan Ali Khan was elected President with 1,511 votes, defeating Chaudhry Nasirullah Khan Dhillon.
Mehr Mushtaq Ahmed won the Senior Vice President slot with 1,569 votes, while Haroon Khalid Bajwa secured the Vice President position.
Haq Nawaz Hanjra was elected General Secretary, Mian Tahir Saleem Joint Secretary, and Abida Ejaz Hussain Rasool Nagri Library Secretary. Khawaja Asad Ejaz was elected Finance Secretary, while Noman Idrees Mughal recorded a landslide victory as Auditor.
Chaudhry Muhammad Ahmad Latif was elected President of the District Bar Association Kasur after securing 981 votes.
Chaudhry Shehbaz Ali Khan won the General Secretary slot with 747 votes, while Mehr Ihtisham Safdar clinched the Senior Vice President position with 1,030 votes.
Naveed Khan emerged victorious on the Vice President seat by securing 948 votes, whereas Rizwan Iqbal was elected Joint Secretary with 970 votes.
Ahmad Mehboob secured the Finance Secretary position.
In Islamabad Bar Association’s annual elections, Naeem Gujar was leading the presidential race with 181 votes against Raja Yasir Shakeel’s 115 as counting continued.
Raja Khawar Dhaniyal led the General Secretary race with 253 votes, followed by Sohail Khurshid Gujar.
Imran Khan Khattak was ahead in the Joint Secretary contest, while Fareeha Bajwa narrowly led the Additional Secretary race.
In Pakpattan, Advocate Rana Amjad Ilyas was elected President with 556 votes, while Advocate Yasir Arafat Gujar secured the General Secretary position with 779 votes.
Farhat Shaheen Advocate and Muhammad Iqbal Sial Advocate stood second in the respective contests.
