Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has confirmed that a new convention centre will be built in Islamabad for Shanghai Cooperation (SCO) Summit.
Mohsin Naqvi on Friday said preparations have been launched and the construction of the convention centre will be completed in two years.
The interior minister said details have been submitted to the National Assembly in this regard.
The new convention centre will provide facilities for national and international events, exhibitions, trade fairs and cultural celebrations, Mohsin Naqvi said.
