Pakistan Bar Council has imposed ban on the affiliation of law colleges in the country.
According to a press statement released by Pakistan Bar Council, after amendment in rules, affiliation of new law colleges banned for three years.
The statement said no university will be affiliated with any law college after January 15, 2026.
Pakistan Bar Council said ban will not apply to applications submitted before January 15. Action will be taken against institutions violating the new rules, Pakistan Bar clarified.
