The Punjab Sports Department is making final preparations to host the province’s largest cycling race and ride, it was reported on Friday.
The landmark event is scheduled to take place on January 25 in Lahore, with registrations currently underway for participants.
According to officials, the mega cycling event will feature both a competitive race and a mass cycling ride, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging sports culture across the province.
Separate cycling races for girls and boys will also be held, ensuring broad participation across age groups and genders.
Provincial Minister for Sports, Punjab, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, will personally take part in the cycling ride.
More than 500 cyclists are expected to participate in the race, while families have also been encouraged to join the cycling ride, making it a community-focused sporting occasion.
The cycling ride will start from Liberty Chowk and conclude at the National Hockey Stadium, passing through key areas of the city.
