Hadiqa Kiani skips Pakistan Idol, focuses on music and charity

Hadiqa Kiani, the acclaimed Pakistani singer and television actor, has once again captured public attention—not just for her chart-topping hits like Dupatta, Buhey Bariaan, and Udaari, but also for her impactful philanthropic work. Beyond the entertainment industry, Kiani has actively contributed to social causes. She played a significant role in assisting flood-affected communities in 2022 and 2025, helping build villages and mosques for those in need. Currently, she is organizing fundraisers in the UK to support humanitarian efforts in Gaza.

In a recent interview in Birmingham with Farid Qureshi, Kiani addressed questions about her absence from Pakistan Idol Season 2. She explained, “There was no particular reason for not joining Pakistan Idol. If they invite me in the future, I would be happy to participate. I was invited as a guest judge this season, but I was overseas at the time, so it wasn’t possible. The show is doing great, and I admire the judges—they are all very talented.”

Earlier, Singer Hadiqa Kiani, known for her philanthropic efforts in Pakistan during natural calamities such as floods and earthquakes, has announced her latest humanitarian initiative. She has joined hands with the AlKhidmat Foundation and Aghoush UK for a series of fundraising dinners across the UK to support widows and orphans affected by Israeli atrocities in Gaza.

Kiani revealed the six stops of the tour in an Instagram post on Thursday. She will make her first appearance in Manchester on January 23, followed by a dinner in London on January 24. On January 25, she will visit Nottingham during the daytime before heading to Birmingham later that day. The final two stops will be in Peterborough and Bradford on January 26 and 27.

Tickets for the events are available through the campaign’s UK partner, Aghoush. General admission tickets are priced at £40, while VIP tickets cost £150 each or £1,000 for a table of 10. Children under six years of age can attend for free.
