The Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, expressed deep gratitude to Pakistan for its support during Iran’s recent conflict with Israel.

He said Pakistan stood firmly beside Iran in the face of what he described as “unjust and imposed aggression” by Israel. He praised Pakistan’s response as “honourable and resolute.”

Dr. Moghadam shared his thanks to key Pakistani leaders. This included President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir. He also acknowledged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior politicians, religious leaders, and media outlets for their support.

The ambassador highlighted Pakistan’s consistent backing of Iran on international platforms. He mentioned the United Nations, the UN Security Council, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation as forums where Pakistan has supported Iran.

He described the recent ceasefire with Israel as a historic and decisive achievement for Iran. He called it a symbol of pride, courage, and the ultimate triumph of truth over falsehood.

Dr. Moghadam also emphasized the long-standing bond between Pakistan and Iran. He said the two nations have always stood shoulder to shoulder in solidarity. “The people of Iran will never forget this historic support from Pakistan,” he said.

The ambassador said the victory and the solidarity shown by Pakistan would be remembered as a milestone in the history of the Muslim Ummah. He added that it reflects the shared values of fraternity, self-belief, and courage between the two nations.
