Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ to premiere on Netflix Jan 30

The espionage thriller Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, is set to premiere on Netflix on January 30, 2026. The film has already made headlines as the most successful Indian production to achieve Rs. 1,000 crore through a single-language release.

The movie’s Netflix debut has sparked excitement among fans due to rumours of an uncut version. While the streaming edition’s full content has not been officially confirmed, viewers are eager to see scenes that were edited out of the theatrical release. The production team is reportedly exploring the possibility of releasing a special uncut version for OTT platforms, further raising anticipation.

Dhurandhar follows the story of a RAW undercover agent, played by Ranveer Singh, who infiltrates Karachi’s underworld to dismantle a terror-ISI network. The film highlights Operation Lyari, a mission aimed at neutralizing the city’s criminal organizations to prevent attacks on India.

The action-packed thriller features a stellar ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt. Its gripping plot, high-octane action sequences, and star-studded lineup have contributed to its box office success, and the digital release is expected to attract an even larger audience.

Fans are particularly excited about potential extra scenes in the streaming cut, which could make the Netflix premiere a more immersive and thrilling experience. The uncut edition, if released, will allow audiences to experience the film beyond what was seen in theatres, promising a fresh perspective on the espionage saga.
