What could be termed a big decision taken by the Balochistan government, the latter has merged all zonal directorates of Balochistan Levies Force, Quick Response Force (QRF) and Special Social Economic Protection Unit (SSEPU) into the Balochistan Police, it was reported on Thursday.
In this connection, a notification was issued on Tuesday.
It was made clear in the notification that the jobs of all uniformed and non-uniformed Levies personnel would be protected and they would be given ranks, salaries, allowances and concessions equivalent to that of the provincial police.
Furthermore, their all administrative, financial and disciplinary matters would be regulated in light of police rules and regulations.
