Gas Pipeline blown up in Lakki Marwat, explosion sparks fire

The unknown attackers destroyed a main gas pipeline using explosives near Bhana Manjiwala in Lakki Marwat, causing panic across the area on Thursday.

According to local sources, the blast completely damaged the Town Border Station (TBS) and the gas transmission line, leading to continuous gas leakage. Soon after the explosion, flames rose from the site and could be seen from far away, while the loud sound of the blast spread fear among nearby residents.

Officials said the damage resulted in the suspension of gas supply to thousands of homes in surrounding areas. The sudden disruption has left many families without gas as authorities work to control the situation.

Emergency teams, including firefighters and gas company staff, rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire and secure the damaged pipeline. Local administration said efforts are underway to stop the gas leakage and restore safety in the area.

An investigation has been launched to identify those responsible for the attack, while security has been tightened in nearby locations to prevent further incidents.
