Achakzai says talks and protests can go hand in hand

Opposition leader and Pashtukhwa Awami Party Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai has announced a full-scale protest on February 8.

While talking to media men in Islamabad on Friday, Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that silence cannot be maintained on the current situation.

Mahmood Khan Achakzai criticized the government and said that the wings of the judiciary have been clipped and the parliament has been practically paralyzed.

He said that the current status of the parliament is maintained because of the PTI.

He made it clear that he and his party know the protection of all constitutional rights and will use them.

He said that negotiations and protests can go hand in hand and this is part of the democratic process.
