All religious scholars are united against terrorism, says Tarar

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has vowed to relentlessly chase down and eliminate terrorist elements to ensure lasting peace and prosperity in the country.

Addressing a news conference along with religious scholars in Lahore on Saturday, Attaullah Tarar said there has been significant progress in tracing the handlers and facilitators of Islamabad terrorist incident. He said noose has been tightened around them, assuring they will be brought to justice.

The minister said those attacking Muslims during Friday prayers cannot be called humans. He said these terrorists have no religion, caste or creed. He expressed the state’s resolve to wipe out these Khawarij.

The Information Minister assured to further strengthen the security of worship places including mosques and Imambargahs.

Referring to the establishment of the Paigham-e-Aman Committee comprising of religious scholars of all schools of thought, Attaullah Tarar emphasized that our message is one of peace and that there is no room for hate and sectarianism.

The minister said all the religious scholars are united and with unity, they will move forward to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
