SC to take up 13 cases related to PTI founder on Feb 9

Supreme Court of Pakistan has decided to take up thirteen cases of PTI founder Imran Khan including Tosha Khana two for next week.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahyah Afridi-led two members bench will take up the petitions on February 9, 2026. Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan will be the part of the apex court bench which will hear the cases related to former prime minister.

In Tosha Khana two case, trial court had pronounced three years imprisonment to Imran Khan. Islamabad High Court had suspended trial court’s verdict against Imran Khan.

Later PTI challenged trial court decision in Supreme Court by claiming that it failed to meet legal requirements.

The other cases include case related to Official Secrets Act, applications against convictions of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi, petition seeking cancellation of bail of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi, case against acquittal of PTI founder and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in cipher case, appeal against bail of founder PTI in May 9 cases have been scheduled for hearing on February 9.

Appeal against Shehbaz Sharif by PTI founder in defamation case was also scheduled for hearing.

The Registrar office has issued notices to all concerned parties.
