Saba Qamar Zaman has spoken up about the importance of free expression, highlighting how many voices remain unheard because of fear and restraint.
The 41-year-old actor used Instagram on Tuesday, February 10, to share her thoughts, stressing that freedom of speech is a fundamental right and everyone should feel safe to voice their opinions openly.
She lamented that, despite this principle, people often still feel limited in what they can say or do. “It’s painful to see people holding back out of fear or restriction,” Qamar wrote, expressing her disappointment at the silence that sometimes surrounds important conversations.
In closing, the Kamli star expressed a hopeful wish for the future: she wants a society where every voice is treated with respect and can speak without fear.
Her post arrived shortly after she publicly praised newcomer Aahin Babar Shaikh for his performance in her latest drama, Muamma. Qamar applauded his confidence and commitment on set, noting that even though it was his first project, he showed remarkable focus and professionalism.
“She carried himself with such confidence and dedication,” she remarked, adding that his preparedness and sharpness with lines suggest a promising career ahead. Qamar described him as hardworking, passionate, and someone with a long journey to look forward to.
For viewers, a reminder: Saba Qamar’s Muamma airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:00 PM on Hum TV.
