In a short Instagram reel posted by the birthday girl herself, Hania Aamir is seen swinging her head out of the car window, grooving to a loud-played song on the nighttime streets of Islamabad.
She captions the reel: “my birthday will always be the happiest day of the year.”
The clip stormed the internet, and within just four hours of posting, the reel garnered over 800,000 views, more than 40,000 likes, and upwards of 1,200 comments, as fans and industry peers flooded the comment section with birthday wishes and prayers.
On her Instagram stories, many best friends, fellow actors, makeup artists, and fan pages also wished the actress a happy birthday, including Yashma Gill, Zoya Nasir, Areeba Habib, Momal Sheikh, Salma Hasan and others.
In one story shared by Yashma Gill with a collage of her and Hania’s pictures, she wrote: “Happy Birthday to my favourite human on this planet. Life is 100x better, louder, funnier, and softer because you’re in it. Thank you for being my safe place, my chaos partner, and my constant. I hope this year spoils you the way you deserve – and that’s a LOT. Love you forever.”
In another story depicting a mirror selfie of the two best friends, Yashma added: “Another year hotter, wiser, and somehow still putting up with me. Legendary behaviour. Happy Birthday, bestie. I love you endlessly.”
In a further story, Yashma is seen kissing Hania on the head and captioned it: “Happy Birthday to my forever sister, my chosen family, my heart outside my body.”
She also wrote: “To my ride or die – you’re the standard, period. Love you forever, iconic queen,” as she was seen kissing Hania on the cheek.
In her final story with Hania, the actresses are seen holding hands and twinning their payal (anklets) together, with a cat in the background.
Yashma wrote: “May you always play with every cat I adopt, may you forever spoil me with your endless love, and may we always keep wearing the same friendship anklets, bracelets, and lockets like the soul sisters we are and keep the child in us alive and don’t you ever stop being the beautiful, light-filled, childlike person you are – the world needs the love you spread so effortlessly.”
Zoya Nasir also uploaded a story of herself and Hania cheek to cheek, writing: “Happy Birthday Hania my jania. My love my star. Keep smiling that bright smile of yours and keep lighting up our lives like you always do.”
Journalist and activist Purniya shared a collage of posts with Hania, captioning it: “Happy Birthday Haniaaaaa. May you continue to soar and make us proud. To many more wake up calls and to being Team Hania.”
Areeba Habib posted two stories hugging Hania, accompanied by a happy birthday song in the background.
Actress Salma Hasan shared a hug picture with Hania, writing: “Happy Birthday my child! Wishing you all the goodness and happiness in life. Keep shining and smiling my love.”
Influencer and entrepreneur Kashif K Afridi also took to Instagram to wish Hania in two separate stories.
In the first, a picture of the duo smiling together, he wrote: “Dadaaaaa Happy Birthday to my legend of a friend! You inspire everyone around you. I’m so proud of you, and I know all your biggest dreams are yours to claim.”
In the second story, taken on what appears to be a business-class flight, he captioned it: “Janam din Mubarak ho meri jaan! Tum meri nazar mein ek superstar aur legend ho.
