Punjab government has allocated Rs40 billion which will be given as financial assistance to 4 million poor families under the Ramadan Nighaban Package.
Moreover, in order to provide this financial help to deserving families, Punjab government has started the delivery of ATM cards.
Taking to her social media account on X, Punjab Chief Minister said that no long queues, no hassle, financial assistance will be delivered with a sense of ease.
CM Maryam said that no family should feel alone during Ramazan. She said that this time ration card financial assistance has been increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 per month during Ramadan.
CM Maryam Nawaz said free Iftar will be organized for millions of people every day through Nighaban Dastarkhwan in every tehsil of Punjab,
Punjab CM said during Ramazan Kareem, provision of essential commodities at discounted rates will be ensured in convenience markets. The entire payment system of the Ramazan Nigahban package will be completely digital and transparent.
Helpline 08000-2345 has been established for information regarding Ramadan Nigahban package.
She said that 160 special centers also established in each tehsil for Ramadan Nigahban package. Branchless agents and outlets also appointed across the province for activation of Ramadan Nigahban ATM card and withdrawal of money.
