Customs-uniformed men allegedly abduct two, loot gold worth Rs12 million in Lahore’s Sabzazar

A case has been registered on court orders after a woman alleged that dozens of men wearing customs uniforms forcibly entered her house in the Sabzazar area, abducted her son and a domestic employee, and looted gold and other valuables worth millions of rupees.

According to the FIR lodged by the complainant, Nadia Yaseen, 30 to 40 men stormed her house between 4am and 5am. The suspects allegedly assaulted her son, Sohaib, and an employee identified as Hamza before taking them away.
The FIR states that the intruders looted gold worth Rs12 million, expensive LCDs, watches, and mobile phones from the house. The complainant further alleged that a vehicle parked inside the house was also taken along with the abducted individuals.
Nadia Yaseen said she had called the police helpline (15), and although police officials reached the spot, no immediate action was taken. She claimed that despite submitting an application, the police initially failed to register a case, forcing her to file a writ petition in court.Following court orders, police have now registered a case and initiated an investigation.
The complainant alleged that the sanctity of her home was violated and accused certain officials of issuing threats instead of taking action. She has appealed to senior authorities to take notice of the incident and ensure justice.
Police officials confirmed that a case has been registered and investigations are underway to ascertain the facts and identify those involved.
