PTI delegation urges Govt to arrange meeting between Imran Khan and family

PTI delegation comprising former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, former opposition leader in AJK Khawaja Farooq Ahmed along with others, were not allowed by Adiala Jail administration to meet Imran Khan on Thursday.

Talking to media at Daigal Checkpoint, Sardar Abdul Qayyum said that first they were told that meeting time is till 4pm but later they were told that meeting time has ended at 1pm in Ramzan.

Sardar Abdul Qayyum said that due to eye issue of PTI founder Imran Khan, entire party leadership and family of Khan was disturbed.

He said there was anxiety in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir regarding the health and eyesight of the founder of PTI, including his family. Niazi said that the entire Pakistan was in a state of anxiety.

He demanded that a meeting should be arranged between Imran Khan and his family members.

Niazi said that “entire party was concerned about the health of the founder. If we had met, the facts would have come out”.

AJK leader said that there are elections in Azad Kashmir in four months. The founder should have been consulted on the elections too.

He said that people in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir are in deep anxiety. He warned the rulers that to fear the day when the whole of Pakistan will come out. Abdul Qayyum Niazi prayed for the for the security of Pakistan. He said that differences in political parties are routine matter.
