Pakistani television actress Hiba Ali Khan has sparked interest after revealing an unexpected reason behind her admiration for superstar Humayun Saeed.
Hiba, who rose to fame with Dil Diya Dehleez, made a strong comeback last year after a five-year hiatus with the hit drama Mayi Ri. Over the years, she has built a steady career with notable performances in serials including Raah E Junoon, Shiddat, Jaan Nisar, Mann Mast Malang, and Behkaway.
During her recent appearance on ARY Digital’s popular sports talk show Har Lamha Purjosh, hosted by former cricketer Shoaib Malik, Hiba was asked to name her favourite actor. Without hesitation, she named Humayun Saeed — but her explanation caught viewers off guard.
The actress said she considers him one of the most senior and consistent performers in the industry. She shared that she has watched him on screen since childhood and believes he has maintained his talent and charm throughout the years. Calling him handsome and a powerful performer, she praised his ability to portray roles convincingly.
However, in a light-hearted moment, Hiba admitted that she had recently heard someone mention his name and “copied it,” though she maintained that he genuinely deserves the praise and remains one of the finest actors in Pakistan.
Hiba clarified that she has not yet had the opportunity to work with Humayun Saeed but expressed clear admiration for his long-standing contribution to the entertainment industry.
