Celebrated Pakistani star Mahira Khan has shared her thoughts on what she would like to see next from fellow actor Humayun Saeed, suggesting he explore darker and more action-driven roles in the future.
Mahira, who enjoys massive popularity both locally and internationally, is known for her powerful performances in hit dramas such as Humsafar, Sadqay Tumhare, and Shehr-e-Zaat. She has also made a strong mark in cinema with films like The Legend of Maula Jatt and Superstar.
During a recent appearance on a television talk show, Mahira was asked what advice she would offer Humayun Saeed regarding his career. In response, she said she would love to see him experiment with negative characters or intense action roles.
She mentioned that portraying a villain or a fierce character similar to Noori Nath would allow him to reveal a completely different dimension of his acting talent. According to Mahira, Humayun has the screen presence and energy required to carry such powerful roles.
Mahira is currently busy promoting her upcoming action-comedy film Aag Lagay Basti Mein, produced under the banner of Big Bang Entertainment. The film features Fahad Mustafa as both co-star and producer.
Fahad also spoke about his interest in performing action roles. However, he pointed out that the local film industry still lacks some of the technical facilities needed to execute high-level action sequences. He revealed that he recently fractured his finger while shooting an action scene for the film.
Mahira’s suggestion highlights a growing conversation within the industry about actors stepping beyond their established images.
