Cement exports increase 9.91% to $206.72 million in seven months

The exports of cement witnessed an increase of 9.91 percent during the first seven months of the fiscal year 2025-26 as against the exports of the corresponding months of last year.
The cement exports from the country were recorded at US $206.727 million during July-January (2025-26) against the exports of US $188.091 million during July-January (2024-25), according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).

In terms of quantity, the cement export increased by 0.33 percent from 5,273,060 metric tons to 5,290,700 metric tons, the data revealed.

Meanwhile, year-on-year basis, the cement exports witnessed an increase of 62.75 percent during the month of January 2026 as compared to the same month of last year.

The exports of cement from the country during January 2026 were recorded at US $33.558 million against the exports of US $20.619 million in January 2025.

On a month-on-month basis, cement exports increased by 52.30 percent during January 2026 when compared to the exports of US $22.035 million in December 2025, the PBS data revealed.
