Former interior minister and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said on Monday it was unfortunate that Pakistan’s relations with Afghanistan had deteriorated, and that, too, during the holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking to reporters at an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi, he lamented that Pakistan’s relations with Afghanistan were not good.
He said there was a need to remain alert. “Especially, administrations of schools and colleges in Rawalpindi and Islamabad should remain on their toes in view of any possible terror attack,” Rasheed asserted.
Regarding the application he filed in court for the performance of Umrah, the ex-minister said that God willing, he would certainly travel to Saudi Arabia.
