The wedding celebrations of Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, one of the most talked-about celebrity unions of the year, have officially kicked off. Unlike typical grand weddings with flashy stages and booming music, the couple opted for a relaxed, sun-soaked pool party to begin their festivities.
The actors, known for their hit film Geetha Govindam, shared glimpses of the intimate pre-wedding events on Instagram, offering fans a rare look at their private celebrations.
Photos reveal friends enjoying pool volleyball, candid laughter, and a playful atmosphere, creating a vacation-like vibe rather than a formal ceremony. A floating drinks station decorated with red cups added a whimsical touch to the serene outdoor setting.
For the candlelit dinner, the 29-year-old actress shared images of a long table bathed in golden light. The table was adorned with blush pink lilies, green hydrangeas, and fresh fruits, giving it a fresh, garden-like ambiance. Guests were treated to a Japanese-inspired menu, and each place setting featured a sage green napkin embroidered with “VIROSH,” the couple’s fan-coined nickname. Personalised surprises added a thoughtful touch to the evening.
The couple has set a strict no-phone rule for their wedding, ensuring no photos or videos from inside the venue are leaked. The official wedding date is 26 February, preceded by the mehndi on 24 February and haldi and sangeet ceremonies on 25 February at ITC Mementos, Udaipur.
