Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi strongly condemned provocations and external aggression along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, reiterating that there would be no compromise on the country’s national security.
He said safeguarding every inch of Pakistan’s territory was a collective national duty and stressed that no one would be allowed to undermine the security of the border regions.
He said the provincial government remained in constant contact with the relevant institutions in view of the prevailing Pakistan-Afghanistan border situation and was closely monitoring developments.
Afridi said the protection of people living in the border areas was the government’s top priority and that all necessary measures were being taken to ensure the safety of life and property in the border districts.
