Iranian military forces launched coordinated attacks on Israel and a US military base in Qatar on the fourth day of the escalating conflict in the Middle East. The Iranian Army stated that its ground, air, and naval combat drones targeted key military sites in Israel’s occupied territories and US facilities at Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
A separate report from Tasnim News Agency shared video footage of a US military installation in Bahrain being struck by Iranian missiles, highlighting the widening scope of the conflict across the Gulf region.
The Iranian Red Crescent has confirmed that the nationwide strikes have claimed the lives of 787 people. According to the organization, the attacks, which began on Saturday, have hit 153 cities and more than 500 separate locations across Iran in over 1,000 aerial and missile strikes.
Meanwhile, regional air travel continues to be severely disrupted. While a limited number of repatriation flights have departed the UAE, the vast majority of scheduled flights remain canceled. Airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Sharjah, Kuwait, and Bahrain have seen cancellations exceed 12,300 flights since the outbreak of hostilities, according to Flightradar24 data.
The Israeli military reported that its air forces conducted targeted strikes on Iran’s presidential office and the National Security Council building in Tehran. The Israeli statement said the operations dismantled facilities within the Iranian leadership compound, striking the presidential office and the Supreme National Security Council building in the capital.
