ISLAMABAD: The price of 24 karat per tola gold decreased by Rs10,000 and was sold at Rs539,962 on Wednesday against its sale at Rs549,962 the previous trading day, the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported.
The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also declined by Rs8,573 to Rs462,930 from Rs471,503, whereas that of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs7,859 to Rs424,367 from Rs432,226.
The rates of per tola silver increased by Rs100 to Rs9,004 from Rs8,904, while that of 10 grams silver rose by Rs86 to Rs7,719 from Rs7,633.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $100 to $5,172 from $5,272, whereas that of silver increased by $1.0 to $85.20 from $84.20, the Association added.
