PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that Opposition adopted a principled position on national security that a briefing should be given in Parliament.
Talking to media outside Parliament House, Barrister Gohar said that “We were wanting a briefing on Afghanistan and Iran-US tensions, but in the joint session of Parliament House.”
He questioned “for how long will we continue to sit with them”. “When they do not give us any importance, they do not acknowledge our presence in Parliament.
PTI Chairman, “We are not being allowed to meet PTI founder, we are not being allowed to meet his family, Imran Khan was not even being given permission so that he can be examined by his personal doctors. “Your attitude is very strict and then you ask him to come and sit with you for a photo session? That will not happen”, PTI Chairman added.
He said Maulana Fazl gave him a message to attend the Prime Minister’s briefing.
He said, “PTI always supported the country on the issue of national security. Be it the Pakistan-India war, Pak-Afghanistan tension or Iran-US conflict, we stood with the country. Our statements are on record”.
Barrister Gohar said “Pakistan Army is ours, this country is ours, the army is making sacrifices, we salute it”.
