Ishaq Dar, Iranian FM discuss regional situation in phone call

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi to discuss the current situation in the region, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A spokesperson for the Foreign Office said on Friday that Ishaq Dar expressed concern over the evolving regional situation during the conversation. Both sides exchanged views on recent developments and their possible implications for regional stability.

The Pakistani deputy prime minister emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region, the spokesperson added.

During the call, the two foreign ministers also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations regarding the latest developments.
