Leading Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay has finally addressed rumors surrounding his marriage, following widespread media speculation about his separation from wife Sangeetha.
During a recent public interaction at a Women’s Meet, Vijay urged fans not to worry about his personal life. “Don’t worry about the recent problems surrounding me,” he said. He added, “Those issues are not worth your time. I will take care of them myself. What hurts me the most is seeing you feel sad or stressed because of my problems.”
Reports indicate that Sangeetha has filed a fresh legal petition seeking residential rights to the matrimonial home. According to sources, she is requesting either the right to remain in the house or alternative accommodation, along with a fair and reasonable permanent alimony. Interim relief has also reportedly been sought to ensure she is not left without accommodation during the proceedings.
Earlier reports suggested that the couple was working toward a divorce settlement, with Vijay allegedly offering Rs 250 crore as alimony. However, the petition appears to have been filed after Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan were seen attending a wedding together. Both arrived and departed in the same vehicle, dressed in coordinated outfits, sparking further media and fan speculation about the actor’s personal life.
