Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing military aggression against Lebanon, calling it a grave violation of international law and urging the international community to take immediate steps to stop the attacks.
In a statement issued by the office of spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi on Tuesday, Pakistan denounced the Israeli military operations against Lebanon, saying the strikes have caused significant civilian casualties and displacement.
According to the statement, hundreds of civilians have been killed while nearly half a million people have been forced to flee their homes as a result of the escalating violence.
Pakistan stated that the actions of Israel constitute a clear breach of international law and undermine efforts by the Lebanese government to maintain peace and stability within the country.
The statement warned that the situation could further aggravate the already fragile security and humanitarian conditions in the region.
Islamabad called on the global community to intervene urgently to halt Israeli military aggression, stop the indiscriminate targeting of civilians, and prevent continued violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Pakistan also demanded that Israel immediately, fully, and unconditionally withdraw from all occupied Lebanese territories.
Reaffirming its support for the Lebanese people, Pakistan expressed complete solidarity with them in the face of the ongoing aggression.
