Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared on Wednesday that it will continue targeting US and Israeli military installations across the Middle East. The force said attacks will persist until it considers the threat of war against Iran completely neutralized.
“We only think of the enemy’s total surrender,” an IRGC statement on Sepah News read. The statement came as the IRGC claimed its 38th wave of attacks late Tuesday hit the US Al-Udairi base in Kuwait. According to the IRGC, more than 100 personnel were injured and moved to nearby hospitals.
The force also reported missile and drone strikes on US naval facilities at Mina Salman port in Bahrain, home to the US Fifth Fleet. Kuwaiti military installations, including Ali Al-Salem Air Base and Mohammed Al-Ahmad Naval Base, were also targeted.
Iran’s army said that early Wednesday, drone strikes hit Israeli Military Intelligence offices, including Unit 8200’s cyber division, the Green Pine radar installation, and the submarine command center at Haifa’s naval base.
Earlier attacks included missile strikes on a satellite communications center south of Tel Aviv, and military sites in West Jerusalem, Haifa, and Beer Yaakov. US positions in Erbil, Iraq, were also reportedly targeted.
The flare-up began after joint US-Israeli airstrikes on Tehran and other Iranian cities on February 28. These strikes killed former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several senior military officials. Iran has since retaliated repeatedly with missile and drone attacks.
In the latest strike on Iranian soil, Bank Sepah, one of the country’s largest banks, reported a missile strike on a Tehran building around 1 a.m. local time Wednesday. Employees working overnight were killed or injured, though official casualty numbers were not disclosed. State media confirmed the attack.
Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that the attack “freed” Iran to target US and Israeli financial institutions across the region. The command stated that further retaliation would continue until Iran feels fully secure from military threats.
