Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have killed two terrorists and arrested five others after their drone attacks in the Takht Khel Lakki Marwat district on Thursday.
Lakki Marwat Police, CTD, Al-Baraq and Quick Response Force and local peace committees participated in the operation against the khawarij.
Operation against Khawarij was carried out after their three drone strike in which a total of 5 innocent children were injured.
Anti-drone technology was also used in the operation, keeping in mind the presence of drones with the terrorists. Police armored personnel carriers played a key role in the operation, ensuring the movement of the soldiers in the dense forests of the area. The police personnel presented a practical example of professionalism by carrying out a successful operation in a very difficult area, which is commendable.
Regional Police Officer Bannu Sajjad Khan, Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed paid tribute to the personnel of Lakki Police, CTD, Al-Baraq, Rapid Response Force for the successful operation.
