Mohsin Naqvi has called on the nation to embrace unity and the true spirit of Pakistan Day to effectively deal with the country’s internal and external challenges.
In his message on the occasion, he said that Pakistan is a precious blessing from Almighty Allah and the result of a strong ideology and countless sacrifices. He stressed that the same spirit of unity and determination shown during the creation of the country is still needed today.
Naqvi described March 23 as a historic and unforgettable day that represents determination, loyalty, and national unity. He paid tribute to the leaders of the Pakistan Movement and the martyrs who made great sacrifices for the country’s independence.
Referring to the Lahore Resolution, he said it was a turning point in history when the foundation for a separate homeland was laid. He added that the vision of that time became a reality within just seven years with the creation of Pakistan.
The interior minister said that Pakistan Day reminds the nation that success comes through strong ideology, unity, and continuous struggle. He stressed that the country must renew its commitment to progress, self-respect, and national solidarity.
He also highlighted the guiding principles of Muhammad Ali Jinnah such as faith, unity, and discipline calling them essential for the country’s success. He urged citizens to set aside their differences and work together with determination to ensure Pakistan’s stability, security, and prosperity.
