As many as 10 shops were reduced to ashes after fire broke out in Sabzi Mandi in Gajju Matta area of Lahore on Tuesday.
However, Rescue 1122 staffers managed to extinguish the blaze after hectic efforts. But the damage had been done by that time.
Woman dies in Pindi Gheb
Also on Tuesday, a woman was burnt to death after fire broke out in a house in a suburban village of Pindi Gheb in Attock.
The body of the woman was shifted to THQ Hospital.
