Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has urged civilians to stay away from areas near American military bases, warning that escalating tensions could put lives at risk.
In an official statement, the Revolutionary Guards claimed that US and Israeli forces were operating close to civilian locations and accused them of attempting to use populated areas as human shields. The IRGC advised residents to immediately leave such areas to avoid potential harm.
The warning comes as fighting between Iran, the United States and Israel continues despite diplomatic efforts to calm the situation. Iranian media reported that residential buildings in the cities of Qom and Urmia were hit in recent strikes, causing widespread destruction. At least 10 people were reported killed in the latest attacks, while rescue teams are searching through the rubble for survivors.
Iranian officials say that since the conflict began, nearly 1,937 people have lost their lives in attacks carried out by US and Israeli forces. The figures have not been independently verified.
Meanwhile, the Revolutionary Guards claimed they shot down American F-18 fighter jets, although there has been no confirmation from US authorities.
In response to the recent strikes, Iran announced it had launched its 83rd wave of missile and drone attacks targeting Israel. According to the IRGC, multi-warhead missiles and drones were aimed at oil storage facilities in the Israeli city of Ashdod.
As the conflict deepens, regional tensions remain high, with fears that further escalation could destabilize the wider Middle East. Diplomatic channels are reportedly still active, but there are no clear signs of an immediate breakthrough.
