CM Maryam waives motorbike registration and transfer fee

In a major relief to the people of Punjab, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced to waive the motorbike registration and transfer fee across the province.

In a post on the social media website “X” on Saturday, CM Maryam Nawaz also approved a subsidy amounting to Rs2,000 for the owner of every registered motorcycle.

The owner of the bike will get a subsidy of Rs100 on 20 liters of petrol every month.

These steps are aimed at ensuring easy access and maximum outreach for the subsidy program.

Maryam Naaz stated that her government is working “day and night” to reduce the economic burden on citizens.

Reaffirming her stance, she said she stands with farmers and the public, and will continue to take measures to protect their rights and provide relief during tough economic conditions.
