A big step toward digital revolution in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) as the Special Communication Organization (SCO) has upgraded the telecommunication services in Soq Valley from 2 G to 4 G, it was reported on Saturday.
It is hoped that upgradation in services will not only provide fast and reliable internet services to the locals, it will also promote tourism in the area.
Thanking the SCO, people of the area have said that the provision of 4 G services have made their lives easier as now they have access to education while sitting at their homes.
They have said that the development has not only lifted their spirits but is also a good omen and encouraging for the tourists.
Locals have said that the internet services are of extremely good quality, which have enabled them to contact their near and dear ones across the country.
