Maryam Nawaz has taken strict notice of the recent increase in LPG prices and has decided to act against those selling it at inflated rates. As Chief Minister of Punjab, she has directed the relevant departments to ensure that LPG is sold strictly at the prices set by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
She emphasized that authorities must closely monitor the market and take immediate action against violators who overcharge consumers. According to her instructions, enforcement teams will conduct inspections and impose penalties where necessary to prevent exploitation.
The Punjab government reiterated that providing maximum relief to the public remains its top priority. Officials made it clear that no individual or business will be allowed to worsen the financial burden on citizens by manipulating prices. The administration aims to stabilize the market and ensure fair access to essential fuel for households across the province.
