After an outstanding career as an actor of Pakistani entertainment industry, the super star Mahirah Khan takes her first step into production in partnership with Nina Kashif to produce a first of its kind original for Tapmad TV.
Her debut venture as producer is much-anticipated Baarwan Khiladi, which is nearing its completion and will be releasing its first season on Tapmad TV after the PSL finals.
The series stars Mira Sethi, Hina Ashfaque, Shahveer Jaffery, Kinza Hashmi, Daniyal Zafar, Sarmad Khoosat, Saba Faisal, Zarrar Khan, Mohsin Gillani, Mir Yousuf, Fawad Jalal, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Ali Tahir and Shafqat cheema
Mahirah Khan on choosing a cricket related series said, “I wanted my first production to be streamed on a Pakistani platform. Cricket is at the heart and soul of so many Pakistanis, yet there has been a dearth of quality content around it. But more importantly the story struck me as something I would want to tell. It is a story about the youth of this country!”
The series collaborates with Soul Fry Films, the newly formed production company, which has launched some new and young talent like the rising star, musician Danyal Zafar and the already digitally acclaimed Shahveer Jafry as leads in this series.
Tapmad TV is Pakistan’s largest digitally focused entertainment platform supporting a local, home grown platform.

According to team, Baarwan Khiladi, a tireless labour of months, in its essence is a coming of age show, which is about relationships, friendships, egos, team spirit and of course the game the nation is so passionate for.
It is still a surprise that the all-time favourite Mahirah Khan herself would be a part of the series or not.
