The Wafa news agency has reported that Israel’s continued bombardment of Gaza has claimed the lives of over 1,000 doctors and nurses.
Citing statements from local medical sources, Wafa noted that more than 310 healthcare workers were detained, subjected to torture, and later executed in custody. The sources accused Israeli forces of intentionally targeting hospitals and blocking the entry of medical supplies, foreign health delegations, and hundreds of specialised surgeons into the region.
Israel says it struck multiple Hezbollah ‘military headquarters’

The Israeli military reported targeting “12 military headquarters” in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district on Sunday evening, Al Jazeera reported.
In a post on X, the Israeli army stated that its strikes included Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters and its coastal missile unit.
Earlier in the day, an Israeli attack on a Lebanese army facility killed one soldier and wounded 18 others in the region between Tyre and Naqoura, according to Lebanon’s military.
Since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, Israeli strikes have reportedly killed over 40 Lebanese soldiers, despite Lebanon’s military largely remaining neutral in the fighting.
Hezbollah claims destruction of six Israeli tanks in southern Lebanon

Hezbollah announced it destroyed six Israeli Merkava tanks in southern Lebanon, including five near the strategic coastal area of al-Bayada, forcing Israeli troops to retreat from a hilltop position, Al Jazeera reported.
The group also reported disabling a sixth tank in the Deir Mimas area near the border, as intense ground battles continued to escalate.
Rocket attacks from Lebanon heighten Israeli tensions

Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets into Israel on Sunday, with strikes hitting areas near Tel Aviv, following an Israeli airstrike that killed at least 29 people in Beirut a day earlier, Al Jazeera reported.
The attacks, including precision missile strikes on two military sites, set homes ablaze and caused injuries in Petah Tikvah, east of Tel Aviv. Israeli airstrikes also targeted Hezbollah-controlled suburbs in Beirut amid ongoing US-led ceasefire talks.
