LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) awarded Rs10million to the national blind cricket team for winning the Blind Cricket World Cup.
According to details, PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi hosted a luncheon at a private hotel to celebrate the team’s achievement.
During the event, Naqvi presented prize cheques to the players and the chairman of the Blind Cricket Council.
He expressed immense pride, stating, “Your victory has doubled the joy for all of us.”
Naqvi highlighted the significance of blind cricket players, placing them on par with the under-19 and women’s teams in terms of importance.
He assured the players of full support and requested prayers for similar success in the upcoming Champions Trophy.
