PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur chaired the session and approved a special grant of Rs40 million for churches across the province in celebration of Christmas.
As per the decision, 80 churches in the province will each receive Rs500,000.
The Chief Minister has directed that the funds be released immediately to ensure timely support for the Christian community.
“The provincial government stands alongside the Christian community in sharing their joy and festivities,” said chief minister Gandapur while reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusivity and support for minority communities.
