Pakistani actress Mansha Pasha has addressed and firmly denied ongoing rumours about her separation from husband and human rights activist Jibran Nasir, calling such speculations baseless and inaccurate.
In a recent podcast appearance, Mansha opened up about how social media misinterprets her personal life, particularly because Jibran isn’t frequently seen with her at public events. “People start assuming that something is wrong just because we’re not constantly posting photos together,” she remarked.
She criticized today’s social media culture, which frequently judges the health of a relationship by how visible a couple is online. “There’s this strange notion now that the more you’re seen together on Instagram, the happier your relationship is. I don’t agree with that,” Mansha said.
The actress emphasized that both she and her husband consciously choose to keep their private life out of the spotlight. “Not every household is built to handle the kind of pressure that comes from public scrutiny. We prefer to protect our peace and avoid unnecessary media attention,” she explained.
Mansha’s clarification comes after weeks of online speculation and rumours about a possible rift between the couple. However, her statements have now put an end to the rumours, reinforcing that she and Jibran are happily married.
Mansha Pasha was previously married to Asad Farooqi in 2013, a relationship that ended in divorce in 2018. She later married Jibran Nasir in 2021 in an intimate ceremony. Since then, the couple has mostly kept their relationship low-key, away from the constant gaze of social media.
