Pakistan’s cricket team is set to tour Sri Lanka in January next year for a three-match T20I series.
According to details, the series will kick off on 8th January, followed by the second match on 10th January, and the final encounter on 12th January. All three matches are scheduled to be played in Dambulla.
With both cricket boards having finalized the tour arrangements, players may now face additional challenges in obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for participation in the Big Bash League (BBL). The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to issue NOCs for BBL participation, but players might encounter stricter scrutiny this time due to scheduling overlaps with the Sri Lanka series.
The announcement comes as Pakistan continues its preparations for a busy international calendar, balancing commitments in franchise leagues with national duties. The T20I series against Sri Lanka will be an important opportunity for players to fine-tune their strategies ahead of upcoming ICC events.
