3 more drug dealers shot dead in encounters with CCD Gujranwala

In the ongoing crackdown against the drug dealers, three more drug traffickers were gunned down in different police encounters in Kamoke, Nowshera Virkan, and Wazirabad, it was reported on Monday.

The CCD sources said that these drug-peddlers were identified as Nazir Changar, Javed, and Riaz alias Boota.

CCD sources said that all three drug-peddlers were sent to hell, and efforts are underway to apprehend their accomplices.

On Sunday, the Crime Control Department (CCD) of Punjab had intensified its province-wide crackdown on drug dealers following a 72-hour ultimatum, leading to the killing of eight alleged ice (crystal meth) dealers in police encounters.

A CCD spokesperson confirmed that three of the suspected dealers were killed in Mandi Bahauddin district, two in Gujrat, one in Gujranwala, one in Hafizabad, and one in Sialkot.

The operation was being led by the CCD Regional Officer and is part of an ongoing anti-narcotics campaign targeting what authorities describe as notorious drug distributors across the wider Gujranwala region.

“The crackdown against drug dealers continues, and they do not deserve any concession,” the CCD spokesperson stated.
