Pakistani rowers won 20 medals, including 14 gold, in the Thailand International Rowing Regatta, it was reported on Tuesday.
The Pakistani contingent, under the supervision of coach Asghar Ali, won 14 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
Pakistani player Farid Mohammad Arif won six golds and was declared the best player of the tournament.
Anaya Jahan Naz Zaidi was declared the best player by winning seven gold medals. Former Test cricketer Faisal Iqbal’s daughter Hooria Faisal also won a gold medal in the tournament.
The Rowing event was continued for three days, in which two hundred athletes from eight countries participated.
