The federal government has officially initiated the process for nominations for the Pakistan Civil Awards 2026.
According to the Cabinet Division, nominations have been invited by April 15, 2026.
In this regard, the Cabinet Division has written formal letters to the heads of all federal ministries, divisions, and related institutions, seeking nominations. Similar letters have also been dispatched to all provincial chief secretaries to ensure wide participation in the nomination process.
As stated in the Cabinet Division’s letter, Pakistan Civil Awards are announced every year on August 14, while the awards ceremony is traditionally held on March 23. The awards are conferred in recognition of valuable services rendered to Pakistan in various fields.
The Cabinet Division further clarified that Civil Awards are awarded to both Pakistani and foreign citizens in acknowledgment of their outstanding contributions and services to the country.
