Syed Jibran spills secrets behind Muamma’s intense scenes

Pakistani television and film actor Syed Jibran, known for his intense and often villainous roles, recently opened up about filming challenging scenes in Hum TV’s latest drama Muamma.

In a recent interview with Nadia Khan on her morning show Rise and Shine, Jibran shared insights into working with co-star Saba Qamar. He revealed that while dramatic confrontations may look real on screen, the actors take careful precautions during filming.

Talking about a scene where he had to grab Saba Qamar’s hair, Jibran said, “Scenes like these are tough. We don’t slap or hit for real; everything is coordinated. Saba is a pro, so we don’t even need to explain much. When I pulled her hair with force to make it realistic, it hurt her a bit. She told me, ‘Jibbi, hold my hair gently,’ and I explained why I had to show strength to keep the scene authentic.”

Jibran also highlighted his long-standing friendship with Saba Qamar. “We go way back to the drama Tinkay on PTV, directed by Tariq Mairaj. We have been friends for around twenty years, and it’s always wonderful to work with her,” he added.
