Trump extends Ramadan greetings to Muslims worldwide

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has extended his congratulations to Muslims around the world on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

A special message was released on the official White House website, in which Trump described Ramadan as a time of spiritual renewal and gratitude for God’s countless blessings. He noted that for many American citizens, this sacred month emphasizes prayer and fasting.

The statement said Ramadan strengthens relationships and reaffirms shared values of compassion and humility. Trump also highlighted that the God-given right to worship freely remains a defining feature of the nation and a pillar of its prosperity and strength.

He added that his administration is committed to ensuring all citizens can practice their faith without fear of oppression or persecution. Trump concluded by praying for joy, blessings, unity, and peace across the world during this dignified season.

Ramadan has officially begun today in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Gulf countries, and will conclude with the celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr.
